Neepoy

Neepoy began with maps. I had been given, for some reason, several very large sheets of squared paper, which soon were covered with the lands and seas of this not-particularly-alien planet (and my blue coloured pencil was about half the length of its fellows).

The world was essentially Earthlike, apart from having a more functional version of the United Nations, an international language, world peace and, of course, a different layout of landmasses and countries.

Neepish was the naming language needed for marking up these maps.

Sadly, I don't think much, if any, of this material survives, although I have no recollection of deliberately throwing it away.

Reading The Lord of the Rings probably led to the death of Neepoy: it raised my standard for constructed worlds, and constructed languages.
